Do you want to know why I love Woody Allen films?  It’s because of the intros.  He always chooses the BEST music – always old timey jazz, definitely something you’d hear at Gatsby’s house…I could listen music to this all day and all night- and not ironically, either.  I genuinely love this sweetly sentimental music.

This song by Sidney Bechet is featured in the intro and ending of Midnight in Paris.  I absolutely loved the film, and the music was the perfect way to set the tone.

Is there a song you love because of its use in film?
